VISTO: El Tratado de Asunción, el Protocolo de Ouro Preto, las Decisiones N° 06/96 y 20/02 del Consejo del Mercado Común y las Resoluciones Nº 90/96, 57/01 y 52/02 del Grupo Mercado Común.
Que por Resolución GMC Nº 90/96, se aprobaron los requisitos fitosanitarios para Allium sativum (ajo), a ser aplicados en el intercambio comercial entre los Estados Partes del MERCOSUR.
Que es necesario proceder a la actualización de los requisitos antes indicados, teniendo en cuenta la actual situación fitosanitaria de los Estados Partes.
EL GRUPO MERCADO COMÚN RESUELVE:
Art. 1 - Aprobar el “Sub Estándar 3.7.2. Requisitos Fitosanitarios para Allium sativum (ajo) según País de Destino y Origen, para los Estados Partes del MERCOSUR”, que consta como Anexo y forma parte de la presente Resolución.
Art. 2 - Los Organismos Nacionales competentes para la implementación de la presente Resolución son:
Argentina: Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Alimentos - SAGPyA Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria - SENASA
Brasil: Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento - MAPA Secretaria de Defesa Agropecuária - SDA
Paraguay: Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería - MAG Servicio Nacional de Calidad y Sanidad Vegetal y de Semillas - SENAVE
Uruguay: Ministerio de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca - MGAP Dirección General de Servicios Agrícolas - DGSA
Art. 3 - Derógase la Resolución GMC N° 90/96.
Art. 4 - Los Estados Partes deberán incorporar la presente Resolución a sus ordenamientos jurídicos nacionales antes del 22/XII/2006.

Este Sub-estándar presenta los requisitos fitosanitarios armonizados aplicados por las ONPFs de los Estados Partes del MERCOSUR en el intercambio regional de Allium sativum (ajo).
